Here at Performance Tuning East Anglia we believe the best way to do something well is to focus on it. That is why we only offer stage 1 ECU tuning and the related work to ensure each vehicle is safe to tune and runs at its best.
ECU REMAPPING
This is our bread and butter. We start by taking a copy of the code on your vehicle's ECU, either directly from the ECU itself, or via the On Board Diagnostics port (OBD). We then change some specific parameters of the engine management code to enhance its performance. After this, we insert these changes back onto the ECU.
This stage 1 tune maintains all safety parameters of your vehicle within the manufacturer prescribed standards. As such, it provides reliable, best bang-for-your-buck performance and economy improvements to your drive.

DIAGNOSTICS
Remapping your vehicle is one of the safest performance enhancements you can make in terms of reliability. All of the remaps we install are configured to maintain manufacturer levels of reliability and servicing intervals, whilst unleashing your engine’s true capabilities.
That being said, if your vehicle isn't up to sufficient health before someone makes modifications then it could cause problems.
At performance Tuning East Anglia we will always run a full diagnostics check on your vehicle prior to commencing work, trying to ensure your vehicle is suitably healthy to be tuned. We do also ask that you inform us of any known problems before we start work.
CUSTOM REQUESTS
Whilst we specialise in stage ECU remapping for all kinds of vehicles, we do accept custom requests.
These can include such things as EGR shut offs and speed limit removals.
However, all modifications beyond stage 1 tuning are treated on a per case basis. This means we cannot always perform the desired modifications and appointment time and cost might increase over the standard flat rate we charge for our stage 1 ECU remapping service.
